Welcome to the North Florida Worlds of Work Career Expo. Patterned after highly successful Worlds of Work events throughout the State of Alabama workforce system, AlabamaWorks!, the North Florida Worlds of Work, or WOW for fun, is the first Worlds of Work event in the State of Florida.
On October 24-25, 2024, local economic and workforce development partners will bring ten industry-specific worlds of opportunities to life for over 3,000 ninth grade students, teachers, and parents in our area. The purpose of WOW is to create awareness of the many high demand, high wage job opportunities that exist in North Florida early enough in high school that students may plan their pathway and graduate with a plan in place and well on their way to college or career.

WOW Varsity: 10-12th Grade Students
WOW VARSITY is an opportunity for students in grades 10-12th to experience Worlds of Work and meet with employers at their own pace. Students must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or adult mentor. During WOW Varsity, these students and parents will be able to participate in all the world experiences and explore options for after graduation. Students (and parents) who visit all of the worlds will be entered to win door prizes, and seniors will be entered into drawings for college scholarships!
Please register in advance for this event. Please have the registration confirmation (printed or on your phone) and bring it to check-in at the WOW Varsity Event.
By participating in WOW, your company will have the opportunity to interact with over 4,000 students, parents, teachers, volunteers, and community leaders.
