WOW Jobs connects high school seniors with local employers ready to hire. The event is designed for students interested in entering the workforce full-time after graduation, working part-time while in college, or starting an apprenticeship with a regional company.
Leading up to the event, WOW partners and schools provide participating seniors without a clear post-graduation plan with extra support—including help creating resumes, practicing interview skills, and completing career readiness certifications like Florida Ready to Work.
During WOW Jobs, each student will interview with at least four different companies. Employers may extend a contingent job offer, with students potentially leaving with four or more job offers that day. Afterward, schools and volunteers help ensure follow-up between students and employers to finalize next steps.
Finally, successful matches are celebrated with students, families, and employers at a Signing Day event later in May.
Join WOW Jobs to connect talent with opportunity—and shape the future of our workforce!
Employers must:
Have at least five full-time, entry-level positions with benefits for candidates aged 18+.
Attend training on March 25, 8:30–9:30 AM at Tallahassee State College.
Provide at least two interviewers for onsite interviews at the event.
